Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative focused on cleanliness and sanitation.

You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas while following all safety protocols. Join SBM Management Services as part of a team, with a Tuesday-Saturday shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm and a pay rate of $16-$17 per hour.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require valid driver’s license and safety training certification.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as scheduled.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment as directed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area and report hazards.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work in a team and take direction from supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with lead, supervisor, coworkers, and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortages and support punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment and maintain a professional appearance.

Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment

Education and/ or Experience

No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

May be required to have a valid driver's license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.
