Job summary

Firstsource Healthcare is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our in-office nearshore team in Puerto Rico. This full-time role focuses on handling inbound and outbound calls, documenting customer interactions, and maintaining compliance with health information privacy standards.

You will work on a fixed schedule, prioritize accuracy in data entry, and read and interpret various business documents to assist our healthcare clients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of call center experience.
• Six months healthcare experience.
• Ability to read and interpret business documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inbound and outbound calls and/or campaigns when directed.
• Thoroughly document all customer transactions in host system.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts to ensure optimal phone coverage.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

Job Description:

• Conduct inbound and outbound calls and/or campaigns when directed.
• Thoroughly document all customer transactions in host system.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts to ensure optimal phone coverage.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
• Safeguard and secure all PHI from misuse in strict accordance with Information Security Policies and Procedures.

Specific qualifications for this call center role include:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 Year Call Center Exp
• Six months' healthcare experience.
• Ability to read and interpret general business correspondence, procedure manuals, and specific plan documents
• Basic mathematical skills
• Intermediate typing skills
