Job summary

U-Haul in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers with U-Haul products and services on site. You will use smartphone‑based U‑Scan to manage rentals and inventory, and you will move and hook up trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, answering questions, installing hitches, and supporting propane filling and forklift certification after employment. Ongoing U‑Haul University training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have up-to-date vehicle operation knowledge
• Experience inspecting and maintaining rental equipment preferred
• Ability to process rental invoices accurately
• Strong communication and safety awareness required

• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U‑Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U‑Haul upon employment).
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
