Professor Gatsby's Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the Rockstar voice of our customer experience in West Berlin, NJ. You will connect customers with our technicians, deliver prompt updates, and help schedule appointments with precision and courtesy.

The role offers full-time hours, Tue–Sat 10:00 am–6:00 pm, competitive hourly pay from $17 to $22 plus commissions, and benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a sales or customer service role.
• High level of proficiency with professional phone and email communication.
• Highly organized with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Strong drive to succeed and the ability to take initiative when assisting customers and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless communication between our residential customers and field technicians to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Manage high-volume incoming calls to provide prompt updates, schedule appointments, and conduct thorough follow-up communications.
• Prioritize urgent customer issues and efficiently fill the daily schedule board to maximize technician routing and efficiency.
• Utilize your excellent phone skills to actively upsell maintenance plans and current promotions to callers.
• Act as the welcoming voice of the company, ensuring every customer experiences our core values of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

• Salary/Pay Rate: $17 - $22 per hour plus commissions (earning potential up to $60,000 per year).
• Location: West Berlin, NJ (In-office).
