You will lead projects from sale to installation within a family-owned environment, and you will be backed by a top-rated service team in the region.

Responsibilities include on-site diagnostics, heroic repairs, and consulting with homeowners to upsell services that improve home comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in residential plumbing.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diverse plumbing systems.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for customer interactions and field documentation.

Residential Service Expert – Deliver Premium Plumbing Solutions for Southern New Jersey Homeowners

Job Overview

• Company: Professor Gatsby's Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical


• Salary/Pay Rate: $30 to $60 per hour Which Includes Performance Bonuses and Commissions.


• Location: West Berlin, NJ.


• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.


• Schedule: Five day work week (on-call as needed with bonus)


• Four 10 hour shifts also available


• Project Scope: Residential & Commercial HVAC / Mechanical


• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License.

You will serve as a premier service provider and technical expert, diagnosing complex residential plumbing issues and performing high-quality repairs. This role empowers you to manage your own projects from initial sale to final installation within a supportive, family-owned environment. You will have the autonomy to drive your own success while being backed by the highest-rated service team in the region.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Execute technical diagnostics on residential plumbing systems to identify and resolve complex service issues.


• Perform heroic repairs and installations for excavation and service projects to ensure total system integrity.


• Consult with homeowners to present specialized solutions and upsell services that improve home comfort and safety.


• Manage project documentation and customer communications through Service Titan to maintain high operational transparency.


• Coordinate with field operations to maintain strict project timelines while delivering five-star customer service.


• Mentor junior team members by demonstrating leadership qualities and technical precision on-site.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of professional experience specifically within the residential plumbing field.


• Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diverse plumbing systems with minimal oversight.


• Valid driver's license with a commitment to maintaining a safe and professional driving record.


• Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for managing customer dynamics and field documentation.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency using Service Titan for dispatching, estimating, and closing sales in the field.


• Successful track record of selling and installing self-generated plumbing jobs.


• Completion of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.


• Advanced knowledge of excavation plumbing and specialized residential installations.
