Job summary

Desert Ready Mix in Arizona is seeking a Dispatch/Customer Service professional to support our growing concrete team. You will build positive relationships with drivers and customers, process orders, and help manage daily dispatch tasks.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle changing priorities within a team environment. A pre-employment drug test is required, and familiarity with dispatch systems is a plus.

• Beginner to intermediate skill set of Microsoft Office.
• Experience working Command Alkon.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams with strong interpersonal skills.
• Always ask the right questions.
• Pre-employment drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with co-workers' drivers and customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Assist with inbound customer and driver calls.
• Enter customer orders accurately and timely into dispatch system.
• Review orders for accuracy.
• Manage time efficiently and work effectively with all members of the dispatch team.
• Communicate information to supervisors and/or customers via messaging, telephone, and internal dispatching system.
• Assist with schedules as needed throughout the day.
• Customer Service follow-up as needed.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
