You will handle inquiries via phone, email or in person, enter orders, and route questions to the appropriate specialists. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in high-volume phone call settings highly preferred.
• Experience in the propane industry preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the company.
• Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
• Forwards customer questions and concerns to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
• Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
• Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
• Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

McAdams Propane, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company in Livingston, TX, is looking for a pro-active and driven Customer Service Representative to join the team! The Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving concerns. • Service-oriented, with the ability to resolve customer grievances
• Proficient with computers and able to learn software as needed
• Proficient in the current Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn additional software tools

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed to safely assist with duties around the plant and at the bottle dock station
• Must pass a pre-employment screening and background check
