Job summary

Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. in Hicksville, NY is seeking a full-time call center agent to provide service to patients and clients. You will support the laboratory team, process billing claims, and help callers understand charges while adhering to safety and privacy standards.

The role requires strong communication, 35+ wpm typing, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Shift patterns include 9:30am-6:00pm with alternating hours; 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of call center or laboratory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and typing proficiency (≥35 wpm) including 10-key.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide clear explanations.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

All you need is:

• Associate's Degree or Medical Assistant training
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Data entry experience in a production environment
