Steve Silver Company has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative.

Steve Silver Company is a reputable local wholesale furniture distributor and a leading importer of dining, home office, and outdoor furniture, with extensive overseas sourcing and quality control expertise across Asia. The company operates from two large warehouses: a 500,000 sq ft facility in Forney, Texas, and a 400,000 sq ft facility in Mesquite, Texas.

Objectives of this role
  • Support accounts and customers with missing or damaged items.
  • Communicate with customers and sales reps regarding availability.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with clients by managing claims communication.
  • Assist in streamlining customer service processes and collaborate with our team to deliver excellent service.
  • Exercise integrity and commitment to ensure the best customer experience.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls related to parts and service issues.
  • Listen to and address customer concerns, issues, and questions.
  • Process incoming parts orders and inform customers about shipping availability.
  • Manage credits and communicate updates to customers.
  • Review photos and descriptions to process damage claims and determine handling procedures.
  • Be a dependable team player.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn product details and follow procedures.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be trainable.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and partner information.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent.
