Job summary

Mossy Nissan Chula Vista is seeking a friendly Service Coordinator to greet customers, schedule service appointments, and support the Service Department. You will handle calls, chats, and inquiries with a positive, professional demeanor. The role emphasizes exceptional service, punctuality, and teamwork.

Prior call center experience is preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with every other Saturday 8am–4pm; pay ranges from $19 to $22 per hour.

Previous Call Center Experience Preferred

As a Service Coordinator for the Service Department, you'll

1. Field inbound calls from prospective customers who need their cars serviced and schedule reservations with the Service Department.
2. Convert inbound web chat leads into appointments
3. Follow up on campaigns for declines, open recalls or customer satisfaction.

In this position as the ideal Customer Service Representative, you'll wow callers with your upbeat, energetic, skillful, sincere and courteous service, so these callers will immediately feel glad they called upon hearing your voice.

Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, and every other Saturday 8AM-4PM

Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage ranging from $19.00/hr. to $22.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Mastering and following all training materials and scripts
• Developing a solid understanding of product information related to the makes and models and all major services provided by the Service Department.
• Using the various responses at the appropriate stages of a service call.
• Keeping current with the latest advertisements, including coupons, direct mail pieces and all service specials.
• Maintaining a professional code of conduct at all times.
• Providing superior customer service.
• Being punctual and adhering to your work schedule.
• Being able to manage your time.
• Adhering to the policies and procedures provided by management.

Qualifications

• Previous Call Center Experience Preferred
• An understanding of the key role the Customer Service Representative plays in the success of the company and the value the Customer Service Representative position adds to the company offering.
• The ability to be the “face and voice” of the company, to represent it at the highest level of professionalism, integrity and service.
• Demonstrated excellent phone skills, communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A highly professional approach and appearance, and demonstrated dedication to customer service
• The ability to handle difficult callers in order to reach a smooth, peaceful and mutually satisfyingresolution
• A demonstrated ability to confidently and skillfully use a computer and computer software.
• An ability and willingness to be flexible to handle multiple tasks.
• A bilingual language ability would be a plus (Spanish)
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
