Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service standard and help customers with rentals and equipment needs. You will use U-Scan tech to manage inventory, move and hook up trucks, and educate customers on products and services.

We offer on-the-job education, the potential for bonuses, and a path to career advancement within a supportive team environment. Training for certifications like propane filling and forklift operation is provided after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
• Prior customer-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and educate customers about products.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill and forklift operation (certifications offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
