Job summary

State of Indiana's Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) in New Albany is seeking a Customer Service Representative 2 to administer driving exams and assist customers with titles and registrations. You will process transactions at the front line and help ensure accuracy and compliance at this busy branch.

Starting salary is $31,668.00 per year, with compensation potentially commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for at least the preceding 12-month period.
• Ability to travel up to 20 percent of the time to branch locations, training, or branch-related community activities.

Responsibilities

• Administer skill tests and evaluate driving skills.
• Assist customers with vehicle/watercraft titles and registration needs.
• Maintain compliance with driving laws and State of Indiana operations.
• Attend training classes or certification tests as required.
• Maintain privacy of customer records and data.
