Job summary

Callanan Industries, Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support in a fast-paced setting. You will take and fulfill orders for aggregates and asphalt, coordinate deliveries, and liaise with the sales and operations teams.

This role requires energy, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, with overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Energetic and customer friendly in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to conform to MSHA, OSHA, DOT and company/state rules.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Occasional regional travel may be required.
• Must complete pre-employment screenings.
• Experience with aggregate/asphalt preferred but training offered.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and fulfill customer orders for aggregates and asphalt, including delivery instructions.
• Ensure correct product for the job; coordinate with QC or sales if needed.
• Collaborate with operations/haulers to coordinate delivery from best location.
• Call customers in advance of late deliveries or delays.
• Proactively contact customers on new projects.
• Keep supervisor and sales informed of issues throughout the day.
• Communicate with Sales regarding scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.
