U-Haul in Gastonia, NC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to support customers with rental products and services and manage rentals using U-Scan. The role involves driving, equipment handling, and daily storefront duties.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physically able to move and lift up to 50 lbs.
• On-the-job safety training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns of equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered during employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered during employment).
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education via U-Haul University.
