Job summary

Flood Pro is seeking a proactive Water Damage Coordinator to manage restoration projects from assessment to completion. You will coordinate on-site assessments, schedule field technicians, and communicate with property managers, owners, insurers, and contractors to keep projects moving on time and within scope.

In this role you will document activities, monitor progress, and collaborate with internal teams to improve processes.

Qualifications

  • Certification or training in water damage restoration is a plus.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with scheduling field technicians using calendar-based software.
  • Strong knowledge of restoration techniques, equipment and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy for homeowners in crisis.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to water damage service requests and coordinate on-site assessments.
  • Be sales-minded while informing customers about Flood Pro services including mold remediation and remodels.
  • Schedule on-site assessments with field technicians efficiently, allowing driving and breaks.
  • Communicate with property managers, owners, insurers and contractors to provide timely updates.
  • Monitor project progress and address issues with supervisors and field teams.
  • Document all activities, work orders, emails and billing information accurately.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to streamline processes.
  • Be placed on monthly on-call rotation with an on-call stipend.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Water Damage Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of water damage restoration projects, from initial assessment to completion. If you have a passion for helping others in times of crisis and are proactive, possess strong organizational and communication skills, we want to hear from you!

Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with an hour for lunch 12:00 am to 1:00 pm

Responsibilities:
  1. Respond promptly to water damage service requests via email and over the phone. Coordinate on-site assessments with restoration technicians.

  2. Be sales minded while engaging with our customers and be informative of all services Flood Pro offers. Including mold remediation, reconstruction for repairs and remodels.

  3. Schedule on-site assessments with our field restoration technicians in an efficient manner giving ample time for driving, breaks and lunch hours.

  4. Communicate effectively with property managers, manager assistants, plumbers, construction crews' property owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates throughout the restoration process via email or over the phone in a timely manner.

  5. Monitor project progress daily and ensure adherence to established timelines and quality standards. Includes engaging with direct supervisors and field supervisors to proactively address any issues.

  6. Document all project activities, including job scopes, work orders, emails, phone calls, and billing information, accurately and comprehensively.

  7. Collaborate with internal teams and external participants to streamline processes and improve service.

  8. Be placed on the monthly on-call rotation for one week,1 to 2 times per month. You will have an on-call phone and will dispatch the technicians to qualified emergencies. An on-call stipend is provided.

Qualifications:
  • Certification or training in water damage restoration is a plus.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, not required but is a plus.

  • Experience with efficient scheduling of field technicians within a calendar-based software.

  • Strong knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, equipment, and industry best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, homeowners, and team members.

  • Empathy. You are working with homeowners and tenants who are dealing with an emergency in their home.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.
