Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring a Customer Service Associate II in Memphis for part-time, store-wide responsibilities from merchandising to customer support. Cross-trained to assist with cash registers and front-end duties as needed, you’ll help maintain a clean, welcoming environment and ensure safe, friendly interactions with customers and team members.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or service experience is preferred, and physical ability to lift 30–50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
