Job summary

Walkenhorst's is seeking an Order Entry / Customer Service Representative in Nevada. You will handle incoming calls, take orders by phone or mail, and perform data entry to keep customer records accurate.

The role is full-time, hourly, with a schedule Monday–Friday (9am–6pm) and occasional Saturday mornings, offering benefits such as health insurance, holidays, paid time off and a 401K. You’ll join a team focused on responsive service to inmates families nationwide.

Job Description

Summary of major responsibilities

• Answering incoming customer phone calls
• Processing orders over the phone and by mail
• Data entry.

Job Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to.

• Respond to the needs of customers and provide personalized service
• Manage & update customer databases
• Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
• Manage large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner
• Office-related duties such as making copies and scanning documents

• Strong verbal communication skills along with active listening

Job Type: Full-time, Hourly Position

• Hours are Monday- Friday
  • 9 am-6 pm (with one-half day)
  • 9 am-1 pm on scheduled Saturdays.
  • Typical work week is 40 hours.
