Job summary

Becklar, LLC is seeking an Alarm Monitoring Operator to respond quickly and professionally to alarm signals, dispatch authorities, and document actions. The role involves training, shift work, and collaboration with partners to ensure subscriber safety.

Candidates should meet minimum age and education requirements, be capable of typing 40 wpm, and be willing to work weekends/holidays. Company benefits include tuition reimbursement and 401k match.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Available to work Day/Early morning shifts.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Willing to work 1 weekend day per week or every other weekend.
• Willing to work holidays.
• Able to commit for 6 months.
• Able to pass a 2-week paid training.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally while managing stressful situations.
• Dispatch authorities to subscribers' locations in emergencies.
• Assist alarm company partners with alarm system tests.
• Accurately document all responses for the alarm on the computer.
• Learn and use new software to complete multiple tasks.
• Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure accurate handling of alarms.

What You’ll Do

Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally while managing stressful situations. Dispatch the proper authorities to subscribers' locations in emergencies, verify that help is on the way, and notify responsible parties. Assist our alarm company partners with alarm system tests to ensure subscriber's alarms are working properly. Accurately document all responses for the alarm on the computer. Learn and use new software to complete multiple tasks. Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure the accurate handling of alarms and to foster your professional growth with our team.

Skills Needed

Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED Must be available to work Day/Early morning shifts Prior customer service experience preferred. Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm. We are a 24/7 business to protect our subscribers. To ensure each team member gets schedule flexibility you must be willing to work 1 weekend day each week or every other weekend. You also must be willing to work holidays. Ability to make a 6 month commitment to work here. Must be able to pass a 2 week fully-paid training class. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
