Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Property Manager to work independently across multiple Portland-area locations, balancing indoor tasks with outdoor duties. You will assess customer storage needs and recommend packing supplies, while ensuring units are ready to rent and spaces are maintained.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, cash handling, deposits, and keeping customers current on payments. A valid driver's license is required; mileage reimbursement is provided; this is a full-time role

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
• Must have a valid driver's license and use own vehicle to travel between properties and conduct work-related business (mileage reimbursement).

Responsibilities

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside.
• Assess customer storage needs and upsell packing and moving supplies.
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability for rental.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily operations.
• Assist customers with payments and make reminder/collection calls when required.
