Job summary

Linde plc in the United States is seeking a skilled technician to safely maintain, service, and occasionally install or remove bulk cryogenic supply systems, including nitrogen, argon, oxygen, CO₂, and hydrogen systems.

The role involves fieldwork across multiple industries, documenting activities in a CMMS, and upholding high safety and customer-service standards. Expect outdoor field conditions, on-call after hours, and ongoing professional growth at Linde.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience maintaining mechanical and rotating systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience in installation, troubleshooting, inspection and repairs of piping systems, pumps, PLCs, regulators, and heat exchangers.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methods for industrial equipment.
• Computer proficiency includes MS Office, Excel, smartphones, tablets, and handheld data entry devices.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain, service, and occasionally install or remove bulk cryogenic systems (nitrogen, argon, oxygen, CO2, hydrogen).
• Support and maintain systems across medical gas, biomedical, manufacturing, food production, and water treatment industries.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance per Linde standards and NFPA/CGA guidelines.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and uphold customer service standards.

Job description

• You will safelymaintain, service, and occasionally install or remove bulk liquid andgaseous cryogenic supply systems, including nitrogen, argon, oxygen, CO₂,and hydrogen systems.
• Supportand maintain supply systems across multiple industries, including medicalgas supply, biomedical research, manufacturing, food production, and watertreatment.
• Performroutine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned systems inaccordance with Linde standards, NFPA and CGA guidelines.
• Further, you will accuratelydocument all maintenance activities in a computerized maintenancemanagement system while upholding Linde’s customer service standards
• Conductfieldwork primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, including safelyaccessing elevated equipment using ladders, scaffolding, man lifts, andcrane baskets
• Workindependently to make sound technical decisions and elevate issues asneeded to ensure safety and equipment integrity
• And you will respondto service calls during business hours and participate in an on-callavailability for after-hours support
• Lastly Contributeto a disciplined, safety-focused work environment by following establishedprocedures and promoting operational excellence

• Show strong documentation and record keeping capabilities along withproficiency in computers, standard software packages, and the computerizedmaintenance management system
• Bring understanding of regulatory and industrial standards and codes areconsidered a valuable asset
• Candidatesmust be capable of safely operating service vehicle and have a cleandriving record, along with the discipline to continue safe operation
