Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Process spare parts/stock reception, packing, unpacking, and local & international shipments, intercompany transfers, stock postings to meet departmental goals.
  • Open parcels from carriers in accordance with strict security guidelines.
  • Pack parcels with product and packaging; hazmat shipments per FAA guidelines (hazmat training provided).
  • Label outbound parcels using SAP ECS; verify contents; file international shipments; prepare BOL and Airway bills for local and international shipments.
  • Receive parcels from carriers, validate quantities, uphold security policies.
  • Assist with managing the Receiving/Unpacking/Shipping mailbox and respond to inquiries per KPIs.
  • Systematically receive incoming parts/packaging for service.
  • Order packaging and supplies; deliver items to internal staging areas.

Job description

PRIMARY DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process the spare parts/stock reception, packing, unpacking, local & international shipments, intercompany transfers, stock postings,
  • and any other processing necessary for brands and products to meet departmental and interdepartmental production goals.
Unpacking
  • Open parcels from the carriers in accordance with strict security guidelines
Packing
  • Pack parcels with the product and corresponding product packaging in accordance with strict security guidelines
  • Pack hazmat shipments in accordance with FAA hazmat guidelines and policies. Hazmat training provided.
Labeling
  • Label outbound parcels for multiple carriers using SAP ECS
  • Perform controls of each parcel to ensure the proper product is included
  • Perform systematic transfers to local and international subcontractors
  • File international shipments online
  • Fill out BOL (Bill of Laden) and Airway bills for local, international, and high-value shipments
Receiving
  • Receive parcels from carriers, validating parcel quantities, and upholding security policies/procedures
Customer Service Communications
  • Assist with managing the Receiving / Unpacking / Shipping Mailbox and provide email responses to the incoming inquiries from internal clients according to key performance indicators
Parts Receptions
  • Systematically receive incoming parts/packaging for service
Supply Management
  • Order packaging and supplies used to support the processes for the department
  • Deliver incoming items/supplies to internal staging areas based on the name of the recipient and department
JOB PROFILE
Education
  • High school diploma
  • College degree preferred
Required Experience
  • 2+ years of employment in a production-based environment preferred
  • Previous SAP experience preferred

  • Ability to be proactive, follow directions, make decisions, problem-solve, and adapt to change.
  • Assist other cross-functional departments with projects or tasks based on business needs
  • Escalate issues that concern missing product to direct supervisor and security upon discovery
