ManpowerGroup, on behalf of its client Logistics and Transportation, is seeking a CWR-Specialist, Logistics to join the Operations team. The role supports daily logistics execution and requires strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of logistics experience, knowledge of the transportation industry, and solid communication skills. Shift is Monday-Saturday 5:00 am – 1:30 pm with on-site duties in the Suffolk area; opportunity for growth

Qualifications

• General knowledge of the transportation industry is needed.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, verbal, or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system.
• Update account managers on problem loads and document actions; update receivers and customers on load status.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verify loads arrive on time and in good condition.
• Take check calls from drivers to ensure on-time delivery; validate load data before marking delivered for accounting.
• Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages and complete the necessary documentation.

Our client, Logistics and Transportation is seeking a CWR-Specialist, Logistics to join their team. As a CWR-Specialist, Logistics, you will be part of the Operations team supporting daily logistics execution. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CWR-Specialist, Logistics

Pay Range: $19.00

Shift: Monday-Saturday 5:00 am- 1:30 pm

What's the Job?

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
• Update account managers on problem loads and document actions taken; update receivers and customers on load status
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verifying loads arrive on time and in good condition
• Take check calls from drivers, ensuring loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting purposes
• Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages, and complete the appropriate documentation

What's Needed?

• 1 year of logistics experience
• General knowledge of the transportation industry
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
