Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co is seeking a Customer Service/Loader at our Bishop Lane location to deliver exceptional service and keep the warehouse organized. You will interact with customers, locate and load orders, and stage products for pickup or delivery.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and maintaining safety standards while handling up to 75 lbs. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, but on-site forklift training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification (training provided on-site).
• Strong customer service skills and professional interaction.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Proactive multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and locate/load orders for vehicles or trailers.
• Deliver completed orders to Will Call/Drive-Thru areas and stage for loading.
• Pick products with RF scanner and update inventory in ERP systems.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment following safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

• Customer Interaction: Locate and load customer orders onto vehicles or trailers, ensuring accuracy and meeting customer needs.
• Operational Support: Deliver completed orders to the Will Call Counter and Drive-Thru areas and stage products for loading or delivery.
• Inventory Management: Pick products using an RF scanner, update inventory in ERP systems, and maintain proper records to ensure inventory control.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, following all prescribed methods and safety procedures.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse accessible and safe for employees, customers, and visitors by adhering to cleanliness and organization standards.

OUR MUST HAVES:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0-1 year of experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
