Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate in New York to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You will engage with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and keep merchandise tidy and well-stocked.

The role emphasizes friendly service, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and may involve cross-training in different departments to support store operations.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones and tablets).
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock replenishment by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint/paint, cut pipes, drywall, etc.).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
