Job summary

Break Time is looking for energetic Sales Associates to help customers, process transactions, and keep the store clean and well stocked. You will greet customers, operate the POS system, and assist with food preparation during shifts.

We value teamwork, reliable attendance, and adherence to safety and cash-handling procedures. Applicants must be at least 18, have flexible availability including weekends/holidays, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Flexible availability to work, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change, complete shift reports, and count product.
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Ability and willingness to attend adequate food safety training and obtain a Food Handler’s Card or equivalent certifications.
• Physical ability to move and position products in the cooler/freezer and to stand for long periods.
• Ability to communicate in English with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers; provide fast and friendly service; conduct transactions.
• Merchandise with proper pricing and promotions; keep shelves stocked and clean.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Work as a team to serve customers while following regulations.
• Use POS systems and handheld devices; perform cash handling, shift reports, and counts.
