Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service, helping customers on their journeys by inspecting and maintaining equipment and assisting with rentals using smartphone-based U-Scan technology.

This role includes on-the-job education, a signing bonus of $100, and a $300 cash bonus upon completing the Equipment Inspection Certification program at our retail stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot and ensure safe operation.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and drive a forklift (certifications offered).
