Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers, use U-Scan tech for rentals, and help move and set up equipment. The role includes inspecting vehicles and answering questions to ensure a smooth journey for customers.

The position offers on-the-job education, with opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive team at U-Haul locations across the Minneapolis area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns of equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane filling (certification offered on employment) and forklift operation (certification offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
