Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Beloit, WI. The role involves assisting customers at a U-Haul center, using U-Scan tech to manage rentals, and helping move and hook up trucks and trailers. You will inspect equipment, answer questions, and prepare invoices, with on-the-job education and potential certifications.

The position offers starting pay at $15+ per hour plus bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Other duties as assigned; participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
