Job summary

U-Haul seeks a friendly Customer Service Representative in New Jersey to be the face of our team, helping customers with rentals, equipment, and related services across our locations. You will work with a supportive team to ensure customers receive exceptional service and guidance on their journeys.

You will use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to dispatch, manage rentals, and inspect equipment, while contributing to ongoing U-Haul education and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service mindset and ability to help others.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers; inspect equipment.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including fluid checks.
• Educate customers about products and services and prepare rental invoices.
