Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with products and services at our centers and remote locations. You will manage rentals using U-Scan, move and hook up trucks, inspect equipment, and educate customers about options and processes.

Responsibilities include invoicing, returns, and basic maintenance tasks. Certifications for propane, forklift, and hitch installation are offered during employment, with ongoing learning through U-Haul

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred, with the ability to assist customers in-store and remotely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate customers about products and services.
• Ability to use store systems and handle basic technical tasks related to rentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; fill propane and forklift operations (certifications offered).
• Other duties as assigned; participate in U-Haul education via U-Haul University.
