Job Title: Customer Service - Donor Support Technician at CSL

Position Overview: Responsible for preparing the donor, donor area, and equipment for the pheresis processors. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor upon completion of the process.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff accordingly.
• Record incidents, alarms, and adverse events using Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).
• Link equipment and supplies used in the process to the donor via PDA.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor about donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic management system.
• Understand policies related to hyper immune programs if applicable.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Follow all HSE and OSHA policies, promoting safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross-training and bilingual tasks if required.

Skills and Experience:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum of 3 months' work experience, preferably in a medical or health environment, or equivalent education and experience. Basic math skills required.

Working Conditions:

• Follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Must be able to see, speak with customers, and observe equipment.
• Stand and walk frequently; perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with potential exposure to hazards.
• Wear PPE as required and work overtime/support center needs.
