Job summary

PABCO Gypsum is seeking a Customer Service Rep/Dispatcher to manage customer orders and coordinate with transportation partners to ensure timely deliveries. The role emphasizes accurate order entry, communication with carriers, and proactive problem solving.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED plus at least two years of related experience. SAP experience is required, and attention to detail is essential for successful order management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years related experience and/or training required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes incoming customer orders for materials and/or products from company employees or individual customers.
• Prepares order paperwork for shipment and/or secures freight carriers as required.
• Routes orders to departments for filling and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
• May resolve routine issues with carriers, including customer complaints, liability issues, and rate discrepancies.
• Provides customer support by answering general product questions, directing customers to website, and distributing product brochures and samples.
• Enters purchase orders into SAP. Updates and maintains freight rate tables in SAP.
• Informs customers of shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
