Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Store #2436 in Murphy, NC is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to serve wholesale and retail customers. You will determine needs, recommend solutions, and deliver products using company vans, while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

You must lift up to 70 lbs, hold a valid driver’s license, and be available for evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include accurate transactions, loading/unloading, and vehicle upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year delivery/retail/customer service experience.
• Preferred: experience selling paint and paint-related products.
• Preferred: ability to read/write/speak more than one language, including Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent sales service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and recommending products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain accurate work orders and inventory, pull products from floor or warehouse, tint and mix as needed.
• Load and deliver items to customers safely and on time; assist with loading/unloading.
