Minimum requirements include:

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Annual passing of a DOT-regulated medical exam
• Good driving record
• Ability to operate a delivery van and handheld tablet device
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation
• Minimum age of 21 years
• Chauffer's license in some states may be required

Preferred experience and education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer service experience
• Delivery driver experience

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver orders to customers, providing excellent service and acting as a Kroger brand ambassador
• Maintain professionalism and personal presentation
• Drive safely according to Kroger standards
• Ensure timely and intact delivery of orders, resolving issues as needed
• Communicate with customers during delivery about any issues or changes
• Keep accurate records of deliveries
• Assist fellow drivers when necessary
• Monitor and record temperature of goods to ensure food safety
• Handle products safely, report breakages or contamination
• Perform pre-inspection of vehicle and report defects
• Operate technology devices for navigation and customer interaction
