Job summary

FiveStar is seeking friendly, reliable Customer Service Representatives to greet customers, handle fast-paced sales, and help keep the deli area clean and well stocked.

You will work across shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights, stand for long periods, and ensure safety, courtesy, and accuracy in every transaction. This role emphasizes teamwork, excellent attendance, and compliance with company policies, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide FiveStar customer service by greeting, thanking, making eye contact, and engaging with customers, making them feel welcome and appreciated.
• Complete fast paced, accurate sales transactions on a register, and balance any mistakes in transactions such as voids or misprints of financial products.
• Prepare quality food using food service equipment according to FiveStar guidelines and food safety standards.
• Maintain PAR levels in the Deli (Cold and Hot).
• Promote FiveStar specials by informing customers and suggesting add-on sales on each transaction.
• Clean and merchandise sales areas to ensure product is visually appealing and available for customers.
• Clean floors, restrooms, parking lots, and all other areas around the store.
• Practice safe working habits that align with company safety rules.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal laws.
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the FiveStar employee handbook.
