Job summary

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. in Chicago, IL is hiring a Customer Service Representative on a 12 month contract to support our growing order management and customer service processes.

You will enter orders in SAP, respond to routine inquiries, and coordinate with planning, logistics, and sales to fulfill requests. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and 0–2 years in customer service or logistics, with strong Excel and Outlook skills; SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of customer service, administrative, logistics, or supply chain experience.
• SAP experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer orders, changes, cancellations, and returns in SAP and other systems.
• Monitor customer service communications and route inquiries to appropriate team members.
• Verify order information for accuracy before processing.
• Assist customers with routine inquiries related to order status, shipment tracking, and product availability.
• Generate standard customer reports, order confirmations, and shipment documentation.
• Maintain customer records per company procedures.
• Support Finance by gathering documentation for root cause customer compliance issues, deductions, and chargebacks when required.
• Coordinate with Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, and Sales to obtain information to support customer requests.
