Pick 'n Save is seeking a cashier/customer service associate to assist customers, process sales, and maintain checkout area in a fast-paced retail environment. You will perform cash handling, refunds, and verification of surveillance tags while delivering excellent service in a team setting.

The role requires at least 6 months cashier experience, a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a drug test, and willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed. Competitive hourly pay available.

Mansioni

• Assist customers and process sales.
• Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions including opening/closing register, ringing sales, handlingTender transactions, bagging merchandise, making money drops, and produce code knowledge.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area to housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Promote and follow Company initiatives.
• Verify EAS tags are deactivated or removed at point of sale and respond to activations as necessary.
• Maintain store accounting functions and prepare bank deposits.
• Open and close the customer service desk; process refunds, exchanges, money orders, transfers, bill pay, gift cards, purchase orders, equipment rentals; provide lottery service and licenses; send/receive faxes; manage lost and found; run vendor reports.
• Work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment; manage conflict calmly; protect customer and business information; follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
