Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 months cashier experience.
• Must be 18+ (19+ for tobacco where applicable) and able to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions, bag merchandise.
• Maintain checkstand area to housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and assist customers as needed.
• Provide lottery service (except Alaska) and fishing/game licenses where applicable.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, transfers, bill payments and gift cards.
• Operate and run vendor reports when required.
