This role processes transactions, assists customers, promotes company programs, follows cash-handling procedures, and supports a clean and organized front end.

You will greet customers, handle cash and card transactions, operate the POS, answer questions, and maintain a clean, organized front end.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and other technology.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other transactions accurately.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling, returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes.
• Educate customers about the Rural King Loyalty Program, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan (RKPPP).
• Respond to store calls using professional phone etiquette.
• Coordinate with loaders and associates to promptly address customer needs.
• Maintain checkout areas, shopping carts, restrooms, and customer service areas clean and stocked.
• Participate in cross-training and support other store departments as needed.
