US LBM is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to support daily store operations at our Albuquerque location. You will greet customers, handle transactions, and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.

Responsibilities include processing sales, providing accurate change, handling refunds with supervisor approval, and keeping current on promotions. Candidates should have strong math skills, good communication, and a willingness to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of prior customer service and cash handling experience required.
• Must possess good mathematic skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with questions about merchandise and promotions.
• Process sales at the cash register and handle payments securely.
• Provide refunds or credits with manager approval when needed.
• Bag and prepare items for customers; maintain cleanliness of checkout area.
• Keep abreast of promotions and accurately count cash at shift start/end.
• Resolve routine customer questions and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain store appearance, including floors, displays and workstations.
