Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Cashier (Customer Service Associate) to be the first and last interaction for customers. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, refunds, and exchanges, and operate the POS system to process transactions.

This role supports courteous service and adherence to safety and cash handling guidelines. Hours include both full-time and part-time positions, with base pay starting at $15.00 per hour and higher starting pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Process customers at checkout using the point of sale (POS) system.
• Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
• Open and close registers.
• Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
