Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our quick service restaurant team. You will deliver friendly, accurate and efficient service to guests, process POS transactions and help ensure a clean, welcoming dining area across our travel centers.

We value a positive attitude, reliability and basic computer skills. Flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays are needed to meet guest demand.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and POS knowledge preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills are important.
• Previous food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
• Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a positive attitude
• Provide great tasting/quality food and maintain a clean restaurant environment
• Process transactions on a point-of-sale (POS) register
• Prioritize work according to kitchen and dining needs
• Maintain equipment per operating standards
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food
• Establish strong communication with leaders and co-workers
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
