Job summary

Chedraui USA's Smart & Final in Los Angeles is seeking a Service Clerk at 364 Los Angeles to deliver friendly, efficient customer service and support daily store operations. You will assist customers, stock shelves, check prices, and help with vehicle loading as needed.

The position emphasizes cart maintenance, merchandise restocking, and keeping entrances and restrooms clean. Starting wage is $18.50 per hour, with opportunities for growth within our fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write English and interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally and move heavier loads safely.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize shopping carts inside the store and in the parking lot.
• Assist customers with loading of merchandise into shopping carts and into their vehicles.
• Check shelf prices for check stand personnel and ensure accuracy.
• Return merchandise to shelves and restore proper location of items.
• Maintain cleanliness of store entrance and restrooms; monitor overall store cleanliness.
