What does a CUSTOMER SERVICE/CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE do?
As a Customer Service/Call Center Representative at Christian Community Credit Union, you will play an essential role in proactively educating our members on our diverse range of products and services. By leveraging your product knowledge and building rapport, you will effectively communicate how various account types can benefit our members, guiding them towards the most suitable options for their needs. You'll deliver outstanding member experiences through multiple channels, including phone, email, chat, and SMS, ensuring that each interaction meets or exceeds expectations.
You will assist members with both monetary and non-monetary transactions, handling inquiries and solving problems efficiently. By accepting ownership of new requests, you will enhance our organization's reputation. You will also create account records, process loan pre-approvals, and promote teamwork at both departmental and organizational levels, all while clarifying issues and exploring alternative solutions to resolve any challenges our members may face.
What Matters Most
To excel as a Customer Service/Call Center Representative at Christian Community Credit Union, several key skills are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, alongside a minimum of one year of customer service experience in a banking or credit union setting, and possess cross-selling experience. A minimum of one year of experience engaging with the public in a call center environment and bilingual skills in English/Spanish are preferred. Success in this role demands the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, solid organizational skills, and keen attention to detail.
Required
Proficiency in computer systems is crucial, as well as good telephone techniques and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
