Customer Service Associate

Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or companion products.
• Processes transactions, including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
• Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional and seasonal displays.
• Assists with food separation and product placement according to policies.
• Knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provides photo area services, including digital passport photos and promotional products.
• Assumes web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring and delivering orders.
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance.
• Follows company policies and maintains respectful relationships.
• Completes assigned tasks and special projects.

Training & Personal Development

• Attends training sessions and completes required PPLs.

Qualifications

Basic: Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking). Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred: Six months retail experience; prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
