Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and poster print services.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade‑up and/or companion items.
• Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash and distribute change, process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records; check in and price merchandise as required.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super‑structures, and sale merchandise, and complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement and perform stock rotation using the first‑in, first‑out method.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo services, poster print services, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities, monitor orders, fill items, and deliver orders to customers.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

• Attend training and complete required PPLs requested by management or assigned by corporate.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
