Responsibilities
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Register sales on the assigned cash register, provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Share customer service best practices with team members.
- Recommend items for sale, including trade-up and/or companion items.
- Process transactions, refunds, and exchanges accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, take inventory, and check in merchandise.
- Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
- Ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
- Construct and maintain displays, complete resets, and assist with product placement.
- Assist with food item separation and stock rotation.
- Operate store systems and equipment effectively.
- Provide customer service in the photo area and handle web pick-up responsibilities.
- Assist with store maintenance and uphold company policies and respectful relationships.
- Complete special assignments as needed.
Training & Personal Development
- Attend training and complete required PPLs.
- Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prefer six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens experience.
