Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time team member to assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store clean and organized. You will help unload trucks, stock shelves, and ensure a safe shopping environment while delivering friendly service to guests.

Responsibilities include maintaining merchandise, aiding with store replenishment, and supporting leadership in daily operations. A candidate with good communication and problem-solving skills will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or service experience highly preferred.
• Must follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned*.
