Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Robinson, IL to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, and help with stocking and merchandise recovery.

The role requires lifting 30–50 lbs and strong customer service, organization, and communication skills. The position is part-time with duties spanning store upkeep, safety, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, trash removal, and neat presentation.
