Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Indian Trail, North Carolina, is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, process sales at the register, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked store.

The role requires friendly interactions, basic duties like unloading trucks, stock replenishment, and supporting store operations while upholding safety and asset protection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
